I use this telephone stand as a night stand beside my bed. It looks pretty nice, and hold everything I need it to. My one problem with it was that the back board for the cabinet came cut wrong, and was impossible to insert. I was forced to leave it off. Since it has its back to a wall, this has not been an issue for me, but its definitely a reason not to give more than 3 stars.

The finished piece is nice- that much is certain. However, the quality of the pieces are poor and this table is waaaay overpriced for the quality of the wood pieces and workmanship. I mostly purchase the self-assemble furniture because of how affordable they are and the designs are usually simple yet stylish which I prefer to all the intricate carving and detailing of selections available in specialty furniture stores. I bought this table as a temporary nightstand until I find something tall enough for my bedside. For now it serves its purpose with ample storage to hold my Bose Wave on the open shelf, a bedside lamp, clock and picture frame with more room to spare on the top and the little cupboard below is currently housing 3 phone books and I still have space for more! The design is fine but quality could be A LOT better for the price Target is charging esp with shipping costs too.

Pleasantly surprised even with the good reviews.
Very easy to put together. Like another person I added wood glue for a little more solidity but that is overkill for most people. You cant beat the price or the quick delivery. Both me and my girl like it and that is rare at any price.

I was looking for a printer stand for a wireless printer. I looked all over for one, at stores and on line. Then one night I thought I would search Amazon. There it was! What a great table. Bought it on the spot. Received a few days later. Assembled in just a few minutes(30) and serves as a wonderful printer stand. Its very sturdy and well make. The bonus is the storage underneath. It serves as a good place to store paper and extra ink cartridges. Bonus number two is the pull out shelf that is useful as an extra work space when needed. I guess it would work as a phone stand too!

We needed a table for a specific purpose and this one turned out to be not only functional but attractive. It was the perfect size and shape that we were looking for.
